We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our dynamic team at ProStaffing. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced automated systems.
Work Schedule:
2nd and 3rd shifts available
Hours: 4pm-12am and 12am-8am
Compensation:
$30-$38 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Calibrate and maintain precision measuring instruments to guarantee accurate performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as distributed control systems.
- Utilize voltmeters for diagnosing electrical malfunctions and executing necessary repairs.
- Conduct industrial maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance equipment efficiency.
- Work with low voltage systems to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and update schematics using AutoCAD.
- Implement automation solutions to improve production processes.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain system records meticulously.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and distributed control systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for diagnosing and resolving technical challenges efficiently.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Relevant certification or degree is advantageous.
