Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our dynamic team at ProStaffing. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced automated systems.


Work Schedule:
2nd and 3rd shifts available
Hours: 4pm-12am and 12am-8am

Compensation:
$30-$38 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calibrate and maintain precision measuring instruments to guarantee accurate performance.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as distributed control systems.
  • Utilize voltmeters for diagnosing electrical malfunctions and executing necessary repairs.
  • Conduct industrial maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance equipment efficiency.
  • Work with low voltage systems to ensure optimal safety and functionality.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and update schematics using AutoCAD.
  • Implement automation solutions to improve production processes.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain system records meticulously.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and distributed control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for diagnosing and resolving technical challenges efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Relevant certification or degree is advantageous.
