Hourly Wage: $42.00 hr. - $50.00 hr.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable controls, variable speed AC drives, power supplies, gearboxes, and pumps.
  • Installs, starts up, and shuts down equipment by company safety procedures for machine activation and shutdown and in line with OSHA requirements.
  • Maintains required performance maintenance records for identified equipment.
  • Provide input and direction to the Maintenance Scheduler with weekday, weekend, and vacation scheduling to minimize overtime.
  • Optimizes inventory to reduce costs, while maintaining proper parts availability.
  • Assists with interviewing and selection of new personnel in the maintenance department.
  • Manages multiple tasks and priorities, and easily adapts to changing situations.
  • Conducts safety inspections, observes and reviews work practices with employees, conducts job safety training, and makes sure housekeeping, food safety, and plant rules are being followed.
  • Maintains waste treatment facility, building, and grounds.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor at a mid-to-large-size manufacturing facility.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Tetra Pack
  • Extensive knowledge of Electrical, Mechanics, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and Troubleshooting
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent Written and Communication Skills
  • Ability to work with vendors, customers, and employees.
