PURPOSE:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Coordinator for our Human Resources (HR) department with a specific focus on HR systems. As a Senior Coordinator in Human Resources, your role is to provide comprehensive support to the HR department and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of HR operations. Your responsibilities may vary depending on the organization's size and structure, but here is a general job description for a Senior Coordinator in Human Resources: This role requires a strong understanding of HR systems and technologies, recruiting, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES:
- Associates Degree in Human Resources or Business Management or;
- 5 years of experience in Human resources and/or recruiting
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and technologies, including HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, performance management, learning management systems, recruiting - Paylocity
- Proficiency in HR system configuration, data management, and report generation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify system gaps and propose solutions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive HR data
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all HR system-related inquiries, issues, and escalations, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, conducting background checks, and coordinating pre-employment processes. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, preparing necessary paperwork, and coordinating training programs.
- Coordinate project activities, track progress, and provide regular updates to HR management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and outside agencies to support all HR projects, such as system implementations, process automation, and data migrations.
- Coordinate compliance with 401k, HSA, Workers Compensation, Cobra etc.
- Other Human Resources projects as assigned.
