Responsibilities:
- Consultative Selling & Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their goals, recommending appropriate printing and signage solutions, and delivering compelling presentations.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing personalized solutions to enhance their experience.
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting with management, cold calling, networking events, and referrals; as needed, determined by sales growth.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to meet the specific requirements and budget constraints of each client.
- Project Management: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects, from initial concept to final delivery, while adhering to timelines and quality standards.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential opportunities for business growth and development.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including pipeline management, sales forecasts, and revenue projections, using our proprietary CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of successful experience in business-to-business sales; printing, signage, or related industry experience a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, build rapport, and deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets, acquire new customers, and expand the business.
- Results-Oriented: Track record of meeting and/or exceeding sales targets, with a constant drive to achieve results and drive business growth.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for sales reporting and pipeline management. PrintSmith and PrintSpeak will be used for order and CRM input, respectively.
- Bachelors Degree: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
