To drastically improve the efficiency of patient recruitment, SubjectWell built the first patient access marketplace that uses AI/ML data techniques to match patients with relevant trials and treatments. We educate people on the benefits of research participation and allow interested patients to choose from and be screened against multiple clinical trials in the marketplace. This increases patient engagement, shortens the biggest bottleneck in clinical research and gives motivated patients new treatment options.

About The Position

Our analytics team is looking to add a Senior Data Analyst. This role will report to the VP of Products. You will work directly with other members of the SubjectWell analytics team to support the organization in analyzing and processing data requests. You will be responsible for creating dashboards, visualizations, algorithms, ML models, and other business tools that will be utilized globally. You will collaborate with colleagues and internal stakeholders to rapidly drive improvement based on rich and diverse real-time data.


Responsibilities & Duties

  • Interpreting historical data to understand business trends/relationships and identify patterns to draw comparisons
  • Evaluating the reason for a situation and causes of trends and correlations between variables to answer critical workforce questions and identify insights that can help drive business decision-making and strategy
  • Identifying the likelihood of future occurrences based on historical data by mining, preparing, and analyzing data to extract information by studying trends and patterns to enable business decisions and act
  • Analysis of raw data to suggest strategies by factoring in information about possible scenarios, available resources, current performance, and past performance of a system
  • Experience researching, building and designing self-running artificial intelligence (AI) machine learning (ML) systems to automate predictive models


Qualifications & Skills

  • A Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science Degree is required, with a Masters in the same fields preferred. 
  • Power BI Reporting/Analytics Tools
  • Python
  • R/SAS Statistical Programming & Analysis Tools
  • Snowflake & Rivery Database/Data Warehouse Technology


At least three years' experience with

  • Developing and implementing data collection systems, databases, and other strategies to optimize data quality for statistical analysis via data cleansing and preparation.
  • Interpreting the data trends to make valuable inferences using statistical techniques
  • Extracting data from secondary data sources and matching to internally generated data
  • Data visualization to show results of analyzing data in a readable format
  • ML engineering to research, build & design self-running systems to automate predictive models
  • AI/ML model production management to develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
