Noble Anesthesia Partners is seeking an energetic and eager individual to join our Texas Office-Based Anesthesia (OBA) division as a PART-TIME Anesthesia Equipment Technician.

What You'll Do:

  • Transport and Setup: Safely transport and set up anesthesia equipment at clients' procedure and post-anesthesia recovery rooms. This includes preparing the anesthesia machines, monitors, and related supplies to ensure everything is ready for the anesthesiologist and the patient.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of anesthesia equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during setup or use.
  • Disinfection and Cleaning: Ensure all equipment is properly disinfected and cleaned before and after each use, adhering to strict hygiene and safety protocols.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of anesthesia supplies, restocking as necessary and ensuring that all items are within their expiration dates.
  • Documentation: Accurately document all equipment setups, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues that occur, maintaining detailed records for compliance and quality assurance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and efficient operations. Communicate effectively to address any needs or concerns that arise.

Ensure Safety, Quality, and Patient Satisfaction: Every task you perform will be centered around ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will directly impact patient care and outcomes.

Work Schedule:

  • Surgeon office hours, Monday-Friday.
  • No evenings, Sundays, or holidays required.
  • Must be willing to drive to client offices throughout the Houston area.
  • Mileage reimbursement for the use of your personal vehicle and additional incentives based on agreed terms.
  • Additional opportunities and incentives for flexibility and cross-pollination if you're willing to drive to the DFW area from time to time.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma and valid Driver's license (DMV license run upon application submission).
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with OBA staff and clients, both locally and nationally.
  • Previous logistics experience in a surgical practice, ambulatory surgery center, or hospital-based setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (e.g., Excel, Outlook) and mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent command of the English language and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of operating a cargo van.
