National Sales Manager

Location: New York, US

Department: Media Sales, Time Out Digital

Reporting to: Head of Sales, Time Out Americas

Salary: $120 - $135 plus commission

Full-time and based at the Time Out New York office, with 2 office days and 3 WFH days, flexibility offered.

Role overview:

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven National Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital advertising, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. As a National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting, presenting advertising solutions to clients, and building lasting relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Utilize various channels to identify and generate leads for digital advertising opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to engage potential clients.
  • Research and understand client needs to tailor advertising solutions accordingly.

Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our digital advertising products and services.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our digital advertising solutions to clients.

Sales Presentations:

  • Prepare and deliver engaging and persuasive sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Showcase the benefits and features of digital advertising campaigns.
  • Address client inquiries and objections, providing accurate and timely information.

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertising agencies, and other partners.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and objectives, offering tailored solutions.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Sales Targets:

  • Work towards achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly digital advertising sales targets.
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics regularly.
  • Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about market trends, industry news, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to the team on emerging trends and client needs.

  • Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
