Reporting to: Head of Sales, Time Out Americas
Salary: $120 - $135 plus commission
Full-time and based at the Time Out New York office, with 2 office days and 3 WFH days, flexibility offered.
Role overview:
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven National Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital advertising, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets. As a National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for prospecting, presenting advertising solutions to clients, and building lasting relationships to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Utilize various channels to identify and generate leads for digital advertising opportunities.
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to engage potential clients.
- Research and understand client needs to tailor advertising solutions accordingly.
Product Knowledge:
- Develop a deep understanding of our digital advertising products and services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our digital advertising solutions to clients.
Sales Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver engaging and persuasive sales presentations to potential clients.
- Showcase the benefits and features of digital advertising campaigns.
- Address client inquiries and objections, providing accurate and timely information.
Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertising agencies, and other partners.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their goals and objectives, offering tailored solutions.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.
Sales Targets:
- Work towards achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly digital advertising sales targets.
- Track and report on sales performance metrics regularly.
- Identify and capitalize on upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Market Intelligence:
- Stay informed about market trends, industry news, and competitor activities.
- Provide feedback to the team on emerging trends and client needs.

- Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
