Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe role of the DBE Coordinator is to support the function of the Supplier Diversity Department with processing internal tasks and strategic partnership monitoring. This position requires a passionate individual who will help grow this department and increase spend with minority-owned businesses. The Supplier Diversity Department is a service department that supports all operational groups who perform work for the public utilities and other clientele, we work on a growth mindset and are always adapting to ensure our tools and output are top tier and exceed the needs of all interested parties.Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager this position works independently to process key tasks for the department in relation to invoice processing and strategic partnership monitoring while communicating with office, field and external partners to ensure completion of processes and required documents. Analyzing vendor statements, processing weekly reports internally as well as externally and some data entry.The function of this role is to support ARB’s Supplier Diversity Department’s objectives of reaching our target DBE Spend goals and supporting the Program Manager and DBE Specialist. This position requires attention to detail and superb organizational skills, the ability to complete tasks timely and be assertive with follow through. This position will require some travel and the right candidate should have the ability to speak on our department policies, procedures and initiatives. Along with industry conferences, this position will be required to attend client events and must be able to hold themselves in a professional manner while speaking with clients, vendors and internal personnel. Demonstrate effective communication with both internal and external parties to ensure completion of all items in a timely manner. Collaborate with the Department Manager and DBE Specialist to complete all work tasks and assist others in the department as needed.The ability to embrace and recommend new and more efficient processes and improvements is highly encouraged.This is an in-office position, regular and reliable attendance is required for this position to be successful.Work schedule Monday – Friday 8 Hours per dayExperience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Viewpoint, is required.
