Founded in 1971, Colorado Springs Christian Schools (CSCS) is one of Colorado's leading Christian educational schools for grades K-12. Your day as a Human Resources / Payroll Specialist

As a new Human Resources/Payroll Specialist at Colorado Springs Christian Schools, you can expect a dynamic role that involves handling day-to-day HR and payroll tasks with precision and care. Your responsibilities will include managing employee records, processing payroll accurately and on time, assisting with benefits administration, and supporting recruitment efforts. Working within a dedicated HR team, you will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations. During the school year (August through May), your schedule will be Monday to Friday, providing a structured routine.

In the summer months (June, July), you can anticipate an adjusted schedule to accommodate the school break.

What matters most

To excel as a Human Resources/Payroll Specialist at Colorado Springs Christian Schools, candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential for this position, as well as a strong understanding of HR and payroll processes, particularly in a non-profit or school setting. Basic accounting knowledge is also beneficial to effectively manage financial aspects of payroll.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. By leveraging these skills and experiences, you'll play a vital role in supporting our school community and upholding our values of excellence and integrity.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
