Position Purpose: To facilitate, integrate, coordinate and direct all treatment actions as prescribed in the treatment philosophy, agency goals and objectives for Rosecrance. To provide and monitor continuity of program services in an ethical, legal and moral manner within a safe and therapeutic environment, consistent with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or a related behavioral health field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Minimum of three years experience in addictions or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Minimum of three years supervisory experience
  • Minimum of two years program development experience
  • Specific education, experience or training in budget preparation
  • Specific education, experience or training in addictions
  • LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT or within 1 year of hire
  • Certified Substance Abuse Counselor or able to be certified

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned.
  2. Administrative supervision of all program personnel.
  3. Directly oversee the treatment program, referral and admission services, evaluation and inpatient services, outpatient and continuing care services and all aspects of their operation.
  4. On 24 hour call in case of emergencies.
  5. Supervise the Office Support Supervisor Coordinators, Shift Supervisor and Environmental service supervisor, including orientation, training, regular supervisory meetings and/or feedback, scheduled evaluations and disciplinary interventions as required.
  6. Provide administrative supervision for all Adult Services Personnel
  7. Provide leadership in the development of annual training plan for all program staff.
  8. Responsible for development of new programs.
  9. Market program services.
  10. Ultimate responsibility for all policies and procedures.
  11. Responsible for ensuring overall agency compliance with standards and rules and regulations.
  12. Prepare, in conjunction with the Finance Dept, the annual budget and ensure adherence to the established budget through the year.
  13. Responsible for preparation and presentation of monthly board of director’s reports.
  14. Ultimately responsible for physical plant.
  15. Review and evaluate incidents within the program.
  16. Supervise maintenance of client service records.
  17. Represent agency as a speaker to outside organizations.
  18. Serve on the Professional Services Committee.
  19. Maintain a reporting procedure to the Regional VP of Living regarding program services, personnel, marketing and related services and assigned project and/or other duties.
  20. Lead the Administrative Team and participate in all team meetings and activities.
  21. Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
  22. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values and expectations of Rosecrance.
  23. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer.
  24. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients, and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance.
  25. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by management.
