Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director, Strategic Marketing & Communications, the Brand Marketing Intern will play a role in the launch of our new brand by assisting with marketing campaigns and collaborating with various departments to ensure a cohesive and impactful brand presence. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about branding, marketing, and are eager to contribute to the growth of a new and exciting brand.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in telling the story of our organization by creating engaging content for internal and external audiences, including flyers, blog posts, emails, social media posts, videos, and more
  • Supporting the creation of email and social media content to support fundraising and organization initiatives
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute brand campaigns across various channels
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for brand initiatives
  • Generating data-driven insights by tracking and analyzing marketing efforts and researching new ideas and trends
  • Assist with project management tasks, including tracking deadlines and deliverables
  • Learning and maintaining marketing processes in a growing non-profit organization
  • Bringing your ideas and personal touch to Children’s Friend projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Basic understanding of graphic design principles; experience with design software is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • A self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and cooperatively
  • Must meet all pre-employment checks, criminal and medical clearances, and immunization requirements
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite a plus

  • Onsite/Both remote and onsite work required.
