What You’ll Do

Team Member

As a Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, thoroughly cleaning & stocking, processing accurate payment transactions, preparing & serving quality food, and a variety of other duties to assist in meeting the needs of our customers (Travelers).

  • Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers).
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately process & receive payment from customers, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labelling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating, and checking temperature of products.
  • Complete with a variety of kitchen-related tasks including prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, and cleaning.
  • Stock, clean, and sanitize workstation and equipment.
  • Actively cross-sell and up-sell products.
  • Maintain a solid knowledge of products and services available in the plaza.
  • Follow required brand standards, food safety requirements, as well as all company policies and procedures.
  • Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
  • Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Requirements

  • Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time.
  • Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
  • Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.

Shift Supervisor

As the Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading shifts by ensuring team members provide exceptional customer service, thoroughly complete their job duties, and follow all brand standards & food safety requirements. This position is charged with assisting to train newly hired team members and monitoring for compliance with cash handling policies and procedures.

  • Lead the activities of team members on shift.
  • Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers) and appropriately resolve customer complaints.
  • Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) system, accurately process & receive payment from customers, and follow all customer service and cash handling policies and procedures.

As the Assistant General Manager, you will be responsible partnering and collaborating with the General Manager and Plaza Leadership Team to manage the overall day-to-day operations and profitability of the business unit. This position is charged with operating alongside and leading a dedicated team that achieves or exceeds the targeted financial and performance metrics.

  • Lead the day-to-day activities of associates and shift supervisors to achieve or exceed targeted objectives around sales, speed of service, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food quality & safety standards.
  • Complete opening, daily and closing procedures/checklists in accordance with company policies/procedures.
  • Actively work to hit targeted operating budgets, inventory controls, food and labor costs, gross profit, and reporting.
  • Consistently provide friendly customer service by engaging in positive, helpful interactions with customers (travelers) and appropriately resolve customer complaints.
  • Engage in a variety of tasks within the unit such as prepping, cooking, packaging, cleaning, stocking, counting inventory, rotating, and labelling.
  • Foster an engaging work culture of learning, development, and recognition.
  • Collaboratively ensure the unit consistently meets or exceeds brand standards and food safety requirements.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a strong team to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Monitor and enforce cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies & procedures along with local, state, & federal laws.
  • Inform plaza leadership of any observations, concerns, or problems that are witnessed or experienced.
  • Execute a variety of other tasks as assigned.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Cash handling and customer service experience required.
  • Previous management or leadership experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
  • Ability to operate in and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate team management, delegation and issue resolution skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Use judgment and discretion to resolve less routine questions and problems.
  • ServSafe Certification Preferred
