Job Summary
LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our dynamic maintenance team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities of our automated processing equipment, ensuring all equipment functions at peak performance, and implementing preventive maintenance measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team's activities, including scheduling and assigning workflow.
- Assess team performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Implement and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders and spare parts inventory.
- Participate in daily team meetings and collaborate with team members to achieve business goals.
- Meet and/or exceed performance standards, deadlines, and business goals.
- Train and onboard new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
- Maintain and perform basic troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including conveyor systems, sortation, and scale.
- Supervise and schedule basic building and equipment repairs.
- Demonstrate mechanical proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, AC/DC electrical motors, drives, and general mechanical tasks.
- Troubleshoot various electrical circuits and related electronic equipment using tools such as multi-meters.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all departments and levels of the organization.
- Monitor and enforce required safety procedures and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Adhere to local, state, and federal code and OSHA requirements.
- Supervise outside contractors performing routine preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
- Weekend/off-shift work may be required to support maintenance of material handling equipment, with additional compensation.
Requirements
- 5 years of previous experience in supervising and leading a maintenance team, preferably in a distribution center facility.
- Knowledge of electrical motors and circuits.
- High level of overall mechanical repair knowledge and experience with conveyor systems, and the ability to perform repairs when needed.
- Experience maintaining and troubleshooting MHE and its peripherals.
- Spare parts and tool inventory management, equipment maintenance, and basic computer skills required.
- Advanced time management and problem-solving skills required.
- Ability to communicate with all team members.
- Deals with sensitive information and/or issues using discretion.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 25 lbs. as necessary for the role.

LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics uses the published salary range as a guideline to provide our employees with market-competitive pay while allowing for flexibility to recognize and reward various levels of expertise, performance, and tenure. While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range $100,000 - $120,000.
