About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a Communications Associate to support their Marketing & Communications Team for a 3-6 month contract role with a hybrid work format.


Job Description:

The Communications Associate will be responsible for content creation, media relations, and social media management. The role also involves supporting internal communications and assisting in event execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing or communications, be detail-oriented, and possess strong interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop and produce high-quality written content, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, and social media updates
  • Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media contacts and assist with media outreach and inquiries
  • Digital & Social Media Management: Manage and grow social media presence, develop engaging content, and monitor channels
  • Internal Communications: Create and distribute internal memos and other materials to keep employees informed
  • Event Support: Assist in planning and executing communication strategies for events, including promotional materials and on-site support

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in communications or marketing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Email Marketing Software (EMS), and Customer Management Software (CMS)
  • Strong attention to detail, proactive, with strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communications preferred, but relevant experience may compensate
