Job Title: Associate, Internal Communications

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate, Internal Communications to join our team at Share Our Strength. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of internal communications strategies that engage and inform staff across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation and dissemination of internal communications materials, including newsletters, updates, and announcements.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal channels, such as StrengthNet, to ensure timely and effective communication with staff.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and other teams to identify and address communication needs and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote organizational learning and development, including the creation of online learning resources and training programs.
  • Provide administrative support for the Senior Director of Internal Communications, including scheduling, correspondence, and data management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in internal communications, marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and styles.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Asana, and other relevant tools and technologies.
