  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential projects and clients through proactive prospecting and networking.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand client needs and requirements and work closely with the internal team to develop tailored solutions and proposals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Sales and Proposal Management:

  • Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and tender responses to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including estimators, project managers, and engineers, to develop accurate pricing and project plans.

Market Intelligence and Strategy:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and emerging opportunities within the civil construction market.
  • Provide regular reports and analyses on sales performance, market conditions, and competitive positioning to inform strategic decision-making.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the senior management team to develop and execute sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and business development plans.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field. A master's degree in business administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successful business development and sales within the civil construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of civil construction processes, project management, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant business tools.
