We are seeking an experienced Programs Manager to join our 211 Palm Beach Treasure Coast team. The Programs Manager holds administrative oversight for the agency's specialty programs, including, Special Needs, Elder Crisis Outreach, Sunshine Telephone Reassurance, My FL Vet, First Responders and Help Me Grow (HMG). This encompasses delivering direct services, establishing and executing strategic partnerships with relevant community resources and funders, community awareness initiatives, and compiling reports on program activities and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Oversight: Manage and ensure compliance of 211 programs with regulations and policies.
  • Staff Management: Evaluate and manage assigned staff performance, conduct annual reviews, and monitor KPIs.
  • Reporting: Compile and submit timely performance reports to funding agencies, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Develop and oversee program budgets in coordination with Finance Director and leadership team to ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance with funding requirements. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a representative of the Agency in meetings, events, and conferences. Serve as the primary liaison with various Children's Services Councils and external stakeholders.
  • Community Outreach: Promote specialty programs within targeted communities and implement outreach plans to increase awareness and utilization of the Special Needs, Help Me Grow, and other programs.
  • Communication: Maintain communication with the 211 database and resource center staff about community resources and programming developments.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Social Work, or a related human services field from an accredited college or university (Master's preferred). Relevant experience may substitute for a degree. Knowledge of Federal, State, and local policies/guidelines regarding special needs populations is preferred. Proven program management experience, preferably in a nonprofit or social services environment, is essential.

Strong project management skills, the ability to conduct training, present professionally, and manage multiple tasks and deadlines are required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with diverse populations and stakeholders are also necessary. Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and inspire teams towards common goals are important.

Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles is needed, along with familiarity with computer programs, data analysis, and reporting tools. A commitment to the mission and values of 211 and the communities it serves is crucial. Knowledge of community resources is a plus.
