We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Leader to spearhead our community solar and energy campaign. The Sales Leader will be responsible for leading a team of sales representatives, driving sales strategies, and achieving targets to expand our community solar initiatives. This role requires a blend of leadership, sales acumen, and a passion for renewable energy.

Compensation:

$100,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.


  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies and campaigns to drive community solar subscriptions and energy solutions.


  • Performance Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement.


  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to enhance the sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service capabilities of the sales team.


  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience.


  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.


  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analyses to senior management.


  • Community Outreach: Represent our company at community events, trade shows, and other promotional activities to increase brand awareness and generate leads.


  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Outstanding organizational skills and time management
  • 3 or more years of experience in sales management or a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in hospitality
  • Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar field a plus
  • This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role
  • Demonstrated exceptional social, verbal, and negotiating abilities
