Role: Production/ Post-Production Coordinator

Overview:

The Post Production Coordinator will report to the Supervising Coordinator and will be responsible for booking and scheduling Freelance and Full Time employees. They will also be responsible for rolling out processes, flagging issues, and helping to onboard new employees. This person should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enable the post-production department to work efficiently and productively by providing exceptional post coordination, support, and office organization from production through post-production.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Post teams to schedule editors and identify the need for additional freelance support.
  • Construct and manage daily schedules and advise on progress/roadblocks in projects.
  • Work with Post and Strategy departments to coordinate project launches, including receiving client assets and developing new client teams.
  • Work with recruiting to build and maintain a roster of freelancer support.
  • Support onboarding of new editors.
  • Work with Post management to create and implement processes to ensure both creative and technical excellence.

Required Skills And Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Premiere Pro and After Effects workflows
  • At least 3-5 years of experience working in the digital space
  • Experience working in scheduling and project management tools
  • Understanding of Post-Production technology and has worked in a SAN environment
  • Familiarity with codecs, image types, resolutions, and frame rates as they pertain to digital media trends
  • Experience with recruiting and hiring editors
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong time management skills
  • Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Emphasis on organization and attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of Production budgeting
  • Knowledge of social media and digital platforms

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)

Compensation:

Note: TubeScience offers remote/flexible work (unless specified to be required to be in-person) and is open to hiring remote candidates who are residents in any US state.

TubeScience provides the wage ranges it reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for all remote roles and as otherwise required by applicable law. The expected range of starting pay for this role is $25 - $35/hr. Actual compensation may vary within the listed range based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, experience, and specific geographic location.
