Automotive Service Director

Compensation includes salary and bonus based on prior experience.  Includes medical benefits, paid vacation, retirement plan, and PTO.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Minimum 5+ years previous dealership management experience
  • Maintain a high standard of Customer Satisfaction goals
    • Spend quality time with customers
    • Provide support for all customer inquiries
    • Leave each customer with a positive impression
  • Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
  • Ability to dispatch work between technicians
  • Evaluate expenses for the Service Department to ensure profitability
  • Able to prioritize required services
  • Stay up-to-date on product line changes, manufacturer training, and new products.
  • Ensure shop equipment is in proper and safe working condition, and is used in a safe manner.
  • Ensure proper repair processes are being used.
  • Analyze department to determine areas of opportunity, and develop action plans to improve performance.
  • Hire, train, develop, and support the service team to achieve key goals.
  • Establish competitive service pricing and strategy.
  • Comfortable working in dealership DMS systems
  • Experience managing/leading a team with a proven track record of success
  • Able to motivate a team with clearly defined goals
  • Able to hold others accountable, while leading by example
  • Outgoing, friendly, and have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to multi task in a fast-paced environment
  • Committed to providing a positive work environment, and an excellent customer experience
  • Able to work well in a process driven and structured environment.
  • Able to give, and receive constructive criticism

 

 

Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position requiring no less than 50 hours a week. 
  • Full availability Monday- Saturday required
