Excelsior Wellness Center is looking for a Part-TIme Certified Peer Specialist to join our intensive outpatient treatment team.


How to Qualify:

  1. Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
  2. Has completed, or has the ability to complete, specialized training through Washington State HCA in becoming a Certified Youth Specialist.
  3. Minimum one year experience working and/or volunteering directly with youth.
  4. Must be 21 years or older.
  5. Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for employment. *New employees with out-of-state licenses must obtain a Washington State Driver’s License within 30 days of employment*


Core Responsibilities Include:

  1. Participates as a member of the treatment team providing outreach, engagement and support of ongoing services to enrolled youth and families.
  2. Utilizes personal experiences of recovery to provide youth or families guidance and support in their own recovery.
