Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPay Rate: $21 per hourJob Description:The Delaware Health and Social Services (DHSS) Quality Control (QC) Unit is tasked with completing mandatory federal reviews of client’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) cases, more commonly referred to as food benefits, and submitting these case reviews to our federal partner, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Food and Nutrition Service (FNS). SNAP has one of the most rigorous quality control systems in the federal government. The SNAP quality control system measures how accurately state agencies determine a household’s SNAP eligibility and benefit amount.The Program Compliance Specialist position will assist Quality Control (QC) staff with administrative tasks for the SNAP Audit, including but not limited to, building electronic case files, conducting research, and initiating outreach efforts to clients and collateral contacts. Qualifications:

  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
