Job Summary:

The Senior Implementation Manager will create and drive strategy for the implementation function. This role is responsible for leading a team that will coordinate service, delivery and operations for new and renewing clients as well as other implementations. The Senior Manager will oversee the development of project plans and ensure that implementations are completed on time, within budget and to the expectations of all parties, both external and internal. This position will liaise with internal and external teams to meet implementation timelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage leaders to support all activities associated with implementation, ensuring continuous improvement of processes, systems, and communication
  • Develop and drive a standard, measurable and effective implementation process
  • Provide direction for the allocation of projects and related team members to on-boarding or renewing entities as well as other internal projects
  • Partner with the management of other departments to help drive creative, compliant, and customer-focused solutions and services
  • Prioritize projects and/or ensure consistency with corporate strategies
  • Provide hiring, promotion, and disciplinary recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports
  • Recruit and Develop high performing team members; set clear expectations for and provide timely feedback on individual and team performance; take corrective action when necessary
  • Drive and conduct the resolution of complex and escalated issues
  • Collaborate with system integration team and ensure compliance to all requirements; oversee the development of provide appropriate training to internal and external contacts ensuring efficient implementation of all systems
  • Direct and oversee the development of processes and tools for the implementation lifecycle, identify defects and ensure development of solutions
  • Review all project plans and ensure monitor compliance to timeframes; collaborate with stakeholders for all implementation processes; provide an efficient interface with all other departments
  • Develop metrics for measurement of success for each implementation and team member using data to drive improvements
  • Analyze and identify trends and provide robust reports




Requirements:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in field such as business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of implementation or project management experience in a supervisory role in a healthcare claims organization where HIPAA and HITECH standards are utilized
  • Experience with benefit administration platforms such as Javelina preferred
  • Knowledge of Federal and State codes related to fiscal operations of healthcare services
  • Proven ability to manage escalations to timely resolution resulting in increased client satisfaction and retention.
  • Experience with, knowledge of, and ability to apply excellent customer service practices both virtually and in-person
  • Solid working knowledge of standard computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability using a computer which includes expert keyboard and navigation skills and learning new programs
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external customers
  • Work effectively individually and as part of a team to achieve established outcomes. Understand other’s roles and empower one another to take responsibility to be successful.
  • Demonstrate collaborative interactions with peers to reach a common goal as well as be a resource to team members and internal/external customers
  • Pay close attention to detail in all aspects of the job
  • Make decisions using available resources and sound judgment

  • Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyzes information skillfully and proactively
