Senior Commercial Manager Opportunity

Our client, a leading Consultancy in the UK, is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join their team in Plymouth. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects and take on a leadership role in commercial operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial projects from inception to completion, with a focus on procurement, contract management, and business development. They will work closely with the senior management team to drive business growth and improve commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage commercial projects, including procurement, contract management, and business development
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to drive business growth and improve performance
  • Lead a team of commercial professionals and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Collaborate with senior management to drive business growth and improve commercial performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in a commercial or procurement environment
  • Experience working in Defence, Aerospace, or Public Sector
  • Experience in end-to-end procurement, with knowledge of sourcing and contract management
  • Good communication and client-facing skills
  • MCIPS is preferred but not essential
  • Security Clearance or previous experience
