About us

Bakery Express is a wholesale bakery in Lewisville, Texas supporting major retail clients since 2001 with fresh baked donuts and muffins daily and packaged cookies and brownies.

We are looking to hire an experienced QA technician to ensure our company remains compliant with industry regulations. You will report directly to the QA manager and perform daily inspections on products, equipment, and ensure employees are following safety regulations.

To ensure success as a QA technician, you should have sound knowledge of inspecting/testing procedures for food manufacturing, a good eye for detail, and advanced problem-solving skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and revising inspection/testing procedures.
  • Conducting inspection checks on goods and production processes.
  • Performing manual and automated quality checks.
  • Ensuring employees adhere to safety and quality regulations.
  • Reporting safety and quality infringements to the QA manager.
  • Advising on procedures to improve production efficiency.
  • Reporting to the quality assurance manager.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Weekends as needed

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED, Associates, or bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a QA Tech or in a similar role.
  • Atleast 1 year in the Food Industry
  • Experience with writing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Extensive knowledge of automated testing software.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Quality Assurance/ Quality Control: 3 years (Required)
