Requirements:

How You’ll Lead

  • Lead department with a servant leadership model. Participate in opportunities for growing deeper in your relationship with Jesus.
  • Establish a culture where the spiritual formation of Sites & Facilities staff and volunteers is both a priority and responsibility for all members of department.
  • Cultivate interdepartmental staff relationships by building partnerships throughout the property.
  • Exemplify Springhill Core Values in the way you conduct yourself with staff, guests, and volunteers.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Maintain systems for asset management and preventative maintenance inventory.
  • Manage with integrity, the finances, people, buildings and equipment on property.
  • Anticipate and execute guest needs/requests to partner with our groups; meeting their needs and developing an environment where guests and staff are heard.
  • Cultivate an environment where volunteers feel both valued as contributors and people.
  • Ensure department staff demonstrate the importance of interpersonal relationships with guests, staff, vendors, and neighbors promoting healthy community.
  • Foster department staff in training and development opportunities.
  • Perform Yearly evaluations of staff.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5-10 years of managerial experience related to Trade work.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office
  • Must be mechanically minded.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in written and verbal communication with guests, staff, and vendors.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Springhill ministry, strategy, and mission.

Bonus Points

  • Any certifications in professional trades.

Where You’ll Be

You will primarily be in a camp setting primarily engaged in physical activity. Physical demands mainly include, walking, climbing stairs, bending, sitting or standing for long periods of time and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds; occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Where You’ll Go

As a team, we are going into the world daily This position may occasionally require some overnight travel for visiting camp, recruiting events, retreats and conferences. Overall, the travel requirement for this position is 5-10%.
