Overview:

Vested HR is in search of an entrepreneurial, business minded, high energy Senior Sales Director that will guide Vested’s sales team towards business and financial success. We need a leader that can elevate the current sales structure and processes to foster the best environment possible for sales success. We want an individual that wants to excel in an environment of teamwork and caring for our clients in addition to their own successes. The income potential for this role is well over $250,000 per year with salary, overrides and commissions on direct deals.

Vested HR is a payroll and human resource partner for businesses that want the best for their employees but also want to spend less time on HR and more time on their business. Through our PEO service model, we help our clients succeed while alleviating the worry and complexity of payroll, benefits, workers’ compensation and HR.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of excellent sales associates to success. Strategize with team on sales tactics, enhance lead generation, help close deals and reach sales goals. Spend time in the field with sales associates to help meet monthly sales goals.
  • Own the processes of the sales department and develop/maintain Key Performance Indicators. Continuously strive to improve processes to yield increasing sales results and team member success. Motivate team members while providing continuous feedback on performance and coaching.
  • Recruit, hire and train new sales associates in technical knowledge, industry knowledge and sales skills knowledge.
  • Be a leader of the organization through building strong relationships among all departments to ensure the growth of Vested as a whole.
  • Be a strong brand ambassador in the communities we serve – through networking events, seminars, charitable events etc. Help your team become excellent ambassadors as well.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape to position our company effectively in the market.
  • Be a working manager as well through personal sales goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least two years of sales leadership experience with field sales associates in the PEO industry.
  • At least two years of proven field, business-to-business personal sales success.
  • Bachelor’s degree is desired but successful sales experience is paramount.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to clearly communicate our valued offering and instill confidence in sales team and potential clients.
  • Evident desire to build networks of influence in your surrounding community and beyond to build trust and open doors for success
  • Strong negotiation skills and keen ability to identify the true needs of the sales team and of a prospective client
  • Ability to coach strong sales associates through Vested’s processes but also in a manner in which each sales associate needs to be coached. Must have the leadership strength to deliver honest performance feedback to help the team reach their highest potential.
  • Strong financial acumen to clearly develop sales plans, budgets, forecasting and annual plans.
