We are looking for a customer centric and sales focused Store Manager to join our growing
retail team in the personal care industry. The ideal candidate will drive store profitability & sales through outreach, relationship building and clienteling while elevating the customer experience through exceptional team leadership.

This Store Manager is directly responsible for the fiscal success of the store, all aspects of store operations including customer service, recruitment, talent management, visual merchandising, facility management, vendor relations, loss prevention, cleanliness, and collaboration with the studio team.

This is a hands-on outreach & selling role and the Store Manager will have the desire to spend time on the sales floor working with clients, conducting outreach/prospecting is essential to the success of the role. This role will be onsite and one must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule; including weekends, some holidays and evenings. Experience working on the the Upper East Side a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales goals through in-store efforts as well as outreach.
  • Heavy clienteling, eventing, networking and participating and leading community
    building activities.
  • Work with hotel concierge and nearby businesses to gain new clientele and
    foster brand awareness.
  • Manage daily operations of business and ensure sales goals are met.
  • Direct employees in daily operations such as serving customers, inventory,
    reconciling cash and managing in store marketing.
  • Lead and train the store sales team, demonstrate expert-level product and brand
    knowledge alongside selling techniques.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience, including resolving customer
    service issues with positive results.
  • Conduct hiring, training and onboarding of new employees.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Track and manage inventory at the store.
  • Perform store opening and closing procedures.
  • Create and foster a happy, energetic, and positive store culture.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of luxury retail management experience.
  • Ability to work in a fragranced work place/store, must love fragrances
  • Strong customer service, management and communication skills.
  • Previous success at driving sales and achieving target sales plans.
  • Excellent selling, clienteling, and client prospecting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to train employees and be an effective salesperson.
  • Expert knowledge in store operations.
  • Experience with Shopify POS is a plus.
