Our client, a jewelry manufacturer, is hiring a Store Manager to join the team at their NYC location. Candidates must be able to work a full time retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Duties Include:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff
- Ensure staff delivers a high standard of customer service including addressing and resolving inquiries/issues as they arise
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve store targets
- Manage inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Oversee the presentation and arrangement of products according to brand guidelines
- Ensure the smooth operation of the store, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, store cleanliness, etc.
- Collaborate to plan and execute promotional activities and events
- Monitor store expenses, manage budgets, and prepare financial reports
- Prepare reports on store performance, sales, and inventory
Job Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of retail management experience
- Experience in the luxury jewelry sector preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
- Understanding of inventory management and visual merchandising principles
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in using retail management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of the lab-grown diamond market is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred
Salary: $80k - $100k annually depending on experience
