INTRODUCTION

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Talent Acquisition or the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is a key contributor to the hiring and selection of new employees. The coordinator provides ongoing administrative and coordination support for the TA team and Leader. In addition to the typical administrative duties, this individual will be responsible for acting as a liaison between the recruiters, candidates, and all levels of leadership. The ideal candidate will have experience providing both administrative and communications support for Talent Acquisition as well as high customer service orientation.

MAJOR DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • May schedule and coordinate all non-executive corporate interviews, conference rooms, teleconferences, candidate travel arrangements, etc.
  • Appropriately manages corporate interviews while candidates are on-site, ensuring a smooth process and excellent candidate experience.
  • Handles new hire onboarding process.
  • Leads new employee orientation.
  • Assist with the tracking of department goals, objectives, and metrics.
  • Assists with TA vendor management, including job boards, and 3rd party vendors, partnering with the communication/marketing department.
  • Helps to create and maintain Recruiting workflows.
  • Supports field recruiting with candidate site access.
  • Support communication and tracking for employee referral program.
  • Act as point of contact for relocating candidates.
  • Support corporate recruiting in completion of new hire tasks for non-executives including but not limited to offer letters, orientation paperwork, new hire testing equipment provisioning, etc. Ensures complete coordination of departments.
  • Support field recruiting (site level management, mid-levels, providers) completion of recruiting activities (offer letters, candidate travel, etc.).
  • Support Locum Tenens and temporary staffing process, working with Recruiters and hiring leaders to help candidates with interviewing, selection and onboarding as required.
  • Schedule, register, coordinate recruiting job fairs / career fairs with appropriate staff and materials to generate qualified candidates.
  • Assist in recruitment marketing and social media- executing campaigns under direction of TA leadership and in line with communications/marketing department.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or a related field preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Two to four (2-4) years’ experience in human resources, staffing and recruitment, employee relations.
  • Labor Relations experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management and applicants.
  • Ability to multi-task simultaneously and work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and juggle various projects and timelines. Self-starter: ability to see potential roadblocks and pitfalls and navigate them to ensure timely outcomes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Requires no heavy lifting, and nearly all work is performed in an office environment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. Frequently required to sit, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, and talk/hear. Requires critical thinking, organizational, decisive judgment, communication, good customer service skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks, be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions as needed. Must always follow Unity Healthcare and departmental policies and procedures.
