Overview:

OGD Overhead Garage Door is seeking a dedicated and proactive Recruiter to lead the full cycle recruitment process for overhead garage door service technicians. This role is crucial in identifying skilled technicians and potential candidates for our comprehensive training program. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining OGD's high standards of service by ensuring a continuous pipeline of qualified technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire recruitment process from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Track recent trainees' performance in the marketplace to analyze key traits for incorporation into recruitment pipelines.
  • Identify and attract qualified overhead garage door service technicians through various channels including online job boards, social media, industry networks, and career fairs.
  • Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess technical skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
  • Build and maintain a robust database of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Promote OGD’s brand and values to attract top talent, leveraging social media and other marketing channels.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional interactions.
  • Track and report on key recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in full cycle recruitment, preferably within the technical or service industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Proficient in using recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
