POSITION SUMMARY

Support production line movement, clear the path for process or equipment relative issues in EPI area. This position is either A shift (Sunday-Tuesday, every other Wednesday day shift) or C shift (Thursday-Saturday, every other Wednesday day shift) depending on candidate preference.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Handle EPI tool alarm issue to resume production: able to disposition alarm wafer and communicate with EE/PE to prevent from happening
  • Response to in-line SPC hold by communicating with owner PE to stop processing and make EPI time adjustment if needed
  • EPI wafer inspection: able to judge abnormal wafer is from incoming issue or EPI tool relative issue. Stop the problem tool if it is EPI tool related
  • Ability to response to EPCOT/TPS tool parameter alarm.
  • Ability to work independently for the above responsibility
  • Ability to work on shift including weekend.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

5 years of semiconductor fab operation or on-duty technician experience
2 year Technical/Associates degree in Science, Electron Microscopy, Semiconductor Manufacturing or Engineering is preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication skills (oral and written),

Ability to work well alone as well as with others.

Self-motivated.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment,

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of changing situations.
