We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Engineer with proficiency in SAP to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Engineer with a strong background in SAP to manage and control project costs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cost management processes and the ability to work closely with project teams to ensure financial efficiency and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, monitor, and control project budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits.
  • Utilize SAP for cost tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is required and will be assessed during the hiring process.
  • Prepare cost estimates, forecasts, and financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate cost allocation and reporting.
  • Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain project profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, bids, and proposals.
  • Conduct regular cost reviews and audits to identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Provide training and support to team members on cost management processes and SAP functionalities.
Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost engineering, with a strong emphasis on SAP.
  • Proficient in SAP (specifically in modules related to cost management, project systems, and financials).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and cost control processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other financial software.
