We are currently seeking a skilled CIVIL ESTIMATOR with a minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating self-performed work, particularly in the fields of DRAINAGE, SEWER, and EARTHWORK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in excavation support, sheeting, utilities, and roadwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to create precise cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to collect necessary information for accurate estimating.
  • Conduct site assessments to evaluate project scope, conditions, and potential risks.
  • Prepare comprehensive quantity take-offs and detailed cost breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering options.
  • Draft bid proposals and ensure timely submission to clients.
  • Engage in pre-bid meetings and facilitate post-bid negotiations with clients.
  • Maintain thorough records of estimates, bids, and associated documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Estimator in the civil construction sector is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable building codes.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and PlanSwift.
  • Exceptional mathematical and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
