Are you a self-starter with a knack for numbers and a passion for innovation? At WithMe, Inc., we're on the lookout for a dynamic Manager of Accounting to take the reins of our accounting operations. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work from anywhere in the US, with occasional travel (up to 10%).

What You'll Be Doing

As the Manager of Accounting, you will:

  • Oversee and engage in all aspects of accounting operations, including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Manage state and local tax (SALT) procedures and filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Conduct financial data analysis and identify trends.
  • Handle month-end close processes.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and cash management.
  • Supervise balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
  • Implement necessary accounting controls.
  • Lead and develop a small team of accounting staff and outsourced resources.

What You'll Need to Succeed

We are seeking a candidate who has:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • At least five years of accounting experience, with experience managing staff.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and consolidated financial statements.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing state and local tax procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and data analysis skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work remotely and travel as needed.
