Position: Account Manager

Location: Alpharetta, GA

Reports To: VP, Agent Services


Job Summary:

The Account Manager position is a sales role responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients. This role serves as the primary point of contact between the client and the company, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty while driving sales growth. This role requires a strong understanding of the company's services and the ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Sales Growth: Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and pursue potential new clients. Achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Customer Support: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and providing timely resolutions to any issues.
  • Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's services, staying up-to-date with any changes or new offerings.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business goals.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on account status, sales performance, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to client management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in sales, account management, or a related field, preferably within the health insurance business.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
    • Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
