The Patient Service Specialist will:

  • Demonstrate the ability to organize the office efficiently and effectively.
  • Contribute to a pleasant and cooperative team environment.
  • Cross train in all areas of reception.
  • Accurately and expeditiously register patients.
  • Demonstrate the ability to respond to requests for information, both patient specific as well as practice specific.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain office equipment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to accurately prepare and maintain patient charts.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Six (6) months’ customer service/clerical experience, including computer operation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Skills in the use of database management, word processing, spreadsheet, and/or presentation software
