Description:New England Dermatology & Laser Center has been providing dermatology care to the greater Springfield community for over 50 years. We're adding a new Patient Intake Specialist position and looking for a team player with conscientious work ethics to join our busy specialty practice.Heavy in-person patient interaction. Primary duties include: facilitating a positive patient office experience while maintaining efficiency of MD, PA, NP schedules; collecting and entering patient information for provider encounter into EHR (medications, allergies, previous medical history/pathology, height, weight, etc.); completing medication reconciliation; noting patient's concerns and chief complaint.Schedule M-F 7:15a-4p, 40 hours per week (45 minute non-paid lunch)8-hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayNo weekendsWork settingIn-person. The regular work location will be varied between our offices (Springfield, Longmeadow, Northampton and Westfield) based on staffing and provider needs.This position reports to the Dermatology Clinical Supervisor.Benefits401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible Spending AccountFree parkingHealth insuranceHealth Savings AccountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insuranceRequirements:High school diploma or GED required.
