Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAmerican Baptist Homes of the Midwest is looking for a Temporary IT Help Desk Technician As the IT Help Desk Technician, you'll provide fast, friendly and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer queries on basic technical issues, primarily over the phone, with assessing and diagnosing computer hardware and software problems, and implement effective solutions. Will need to be able to do root cause analysis, as well as troubleshooting; if needed, would route call to next level of internal support.
  • Starting pay $20.00/hr based on experience
  • Temporary Position: 3-4 Months
  • Hybrid remote position - generally works 1-2 days/week in Eden Prairie, MN home office

What You Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • 1-2 years hands-on experience preferred
  • A+, Network+, Microsoft Windows and/or Microsoft 365 Certifications a plus
  • Requires a highly motivated and self-driven individual
  • Ability to discuss technical concepts in relatable terms with end-users
