As a representative of the D3G brand, this role also involves driving community and outreach efforts in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. The Marketing Manager requires being a strong communicator, working effectively at all organizational levels, independently managing several projects, and having excellent interpersonal skills, including problem-solving and persuasiveness. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who works well in a team, is a creative thinker, and desires to learn.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works with the sales and pursuit departments to expand market opportunities, engage prospective clients, and retain existing relationships through traditional and digital marketing strategies.
  • Creates high-quality content for blogs, newsletters, and social media channels that communicate business purpose, value, services, and culture.
  • Has a general understanding of search engine optimization, Google Ads, and keyword generation.
  • Reports Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads data to the leadership team on a weekly basis.
  • Manages all aspects of social media channels, including content calendar, visuals, follower engagement, company happenings and success stories, and time-sensitive industry news.
  • Oversees the relationship with D3G’s website/marketing vendor, FreshMove Media, to ensure website maintenance, video production, and other projects are coordinated, planned, and executed promptly.
  • Supports D3G Leadership and teams with client requests, presentations, proposals, and projects, as needed.
  • Manages the creation, maintenance, and repository of all D3G marketing/promotional materials, graphics, and other branding materials.
  • Administers marketing campaigns through email, social media, paid search, and digital and print publications.
  • Purchases, stores, and distributes promotional merchandise based on company needs.
  • Effectively manages the marketing budget.
  • Coordinates, plans, and implements volunteer events, guest speakers, and other community and business outreach goals set forth by D3G.
  • Acts as a liaison between D3G and the community, informing staff of volunteer opportunities through internal communications, including email, town halls, and newsletters.
  • Establishes and/or maintains strategic relationships with other non-profits and/or other educational organizations.
  • Support D3G’s gift-matching fund and onboarding gift process, as needed.
  • Captures D3G community engagement goals and metrics through measurable data.
  • Highlights volunteers, events, and nonprofit partners on social media to encourage engagement and relationships and increase brand awareness.


Work Environment: The position is primarily in an indoor office. Working conditions may occasionally include evening and weekend work to attend business development events and meet corporate marketing demands.


Direct Reports: Could include support staff, analysts, or interns. None currently.


Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree in a related field preferred
  • 5 or more years of experience in a related field
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
  • Experience with Salesforce
