POSITION SUMMARY:

The perfect Restaurant General Manager is a confident decision-maker who has a proven track record and experience in guest / customer service, employee management, business and financial management, and people motivation. He or she is an excellent communicator—both in writing and verbally. As the General Manager, your responsibilities will be:

Focus on your people by creating a culture of high employee retention and full staffingManage crew member employees in a manner that encourages them to grow with the company and reduce turnoverInterview and hire team membersTrain your people with passion and purpose so that they feel empowered and encouraged to unlock their full potentialTrain, monitor, and reinforce food safety proceduresBuild sales through the Qdoba recipe of delicious food, over the top hospitality, and a sparkling clean restaurant and kitchenMaintain fast, accurate service, provide excellent customer service, and model restaurant hospitalityEnsure continual improvement of Quality, Service, and CleanlinessBe a leader of your businessMaximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programsOversee and partner on increasing catering salesManage food and labor costsExecute company policies and proceduresAnticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action
