As a Senior People Partner at MNTN you bring a deep understanding of business strategy. You know how to read a situation, navigate sensitivities, and find creative solutions to people-related challenges. You are a business leader, not a policy pusher.You have a keen ability to read a room and sense what's happening behind the scenes. You successfully balance people-oriented and organizational priorities and ask thoughtful questions to help coach and guide leaders and teammates to outstanding outcomes.

Our MNTN People Operations team is small but mighty. You're a true generalist and business partner with knowledge and experience in a broad range of tactical and strategic areas of human resources, and you're ready to roll up your sleeves to bring projects and initiatives across the finish line.

What you'll do

  • Improve upon workflows and HR processes such as LOA management, On/Offboarding, and all team member and compliance documentation in Rippling
  • Be responsible for understanding all team member benefits and the administration of all benefits
  • Partner with teams on talent retention and career development programs, compensation practices, and culture agendas
  • Be passionate about MNTN company culture, diversity, and inclusion
  • Participate actively in strategic and operational planning, while being exceptionally organized and proactive
  • Will primarily partner with Engineering and Product teams at all levels and be a main point of contact for all team member relations and support
  • You will interface effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization
  • You will be able to maintain confidentiality and use outstanding judgment daily

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 6+ years of previous People Business Partner or People Operations experience
  • You have a passion for understanding business goals, finding creative solutions, and improving team processes
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced technology company
  • You are creative and interactive with solutions, and thrive in a culture of high ambiguity
  • You have a forward-thinking approach to all things related to people - building first from principles
  • You have a high degree of emotional intelligence (EQ), empathy, and are a great communicator (both written and verbally)
  • You're a people connector and have experience in all aspects of HR (compliance, operations, DEI, L&D, etc.)
  • You're self-aware, resilient, and thrive in opportunities for learning new things
  • You have great organizational skills, pay close attention to detail, and have the ability to multitask, completing competing priorities efficiently
  • You have excellent presentation skills and exceptional attention to detail; strong written and verbal communicator
  • You have start-up and public company experience - understanding of publicly traded business nuances preferred
  • You have experience developing processes around onboarding, team member relations, recognition programs, strategic development, culture programs, and D&I programs
  • You have expertise in multiple disciplines including team member engagement, compensation practices, organizational development, team member relations, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • You have a track record of effectively handling multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and driving projects from end to end independently
  • You have experience collecting and analyzing data, both qualitative and quantitative, to inform decisions
