Position Overview

The Account Coordinator role is positioned to assist all sales positions as a liaison to our customers in an effort to meet and exceed annual Storm Creek sales goals. This person partners with the Strategic Account Executive and Territory Account Manager on multiple levels to secure orders and provide exceptional customer service. In addition, this position will have the opportunity to foster and grow new opportunities with "C" level accounts.

Customer and Team Communication

  • Promptly respond to customer inquiries including inventory, order follow up, issue resolution, etc.
  • Field customer calls and Live Chats related to order inquiries, using courteous and professional communication.
  • Work as a liaison for independent multi-line reps, Strategic Account Executives, and Territory Account Managers to fulfill needs and requests.
  • Confidently interact to influence and exceed customer expectations, fostering continued development and growth of customers, in partnership with all sales roles.
  • Provide responsive communication and service to unassigned accounts.
  • Refer to the defined division of roles when dealing with customers to establish a hand-off point on key accounts.
  • Share best practices and assist in building processes and efficiencies where needed.



Order Management

  • Monitor all orders in the territory and ensure they are carried to completion.
  • Follow-up on incomplete orders, ensuring all necessary information is gathered prior to passing on to Order Entry team.
  • Follow up on sample orders from non-rep accounts.
  • Create virtuals, submit to customers, and enter the virtual tracking system.

Manage Data and Information

  • Build and run daily reports to accurately monitor open/pending/partial/backorders for the territory; make updates in the system and communicate any changes to customers.
  • Respond to all inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain CRM data and touchpoints for all customer communication.

Account Development

  • Onboard new accounts.
  • Provide 100% service to non-rep accounts in the territory.
  • Send targeted CRM generated email campaigns to non-rep accounts.
  • Additional customer experience duties as assigned, such as process improvements, system updates, quality control, etc.
  • Participate in flex scheduling with the overall sales team to share hours coverage.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of Storm Creek product lines.

Team Expectations

  • Uphold Storm Creek values and deliver an exceptional customer experience to internal and external customers.
  • Actively participate in organizational and sales team functions, weekly LI0 meetings, 1x1s, and daily huddles.
  • Participate in industry networking/education and community engagement.
  • Assist with other projects and duties as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Degree in business, marketing, sales or related experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or industry related sales support experience
  • A proven track record of sales/service goal achievements
  • Organizational skills including strong attention to detail and timely follow through
  • Customer solutions-oriented, with can-do attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; can engage customers at all levels within an organization
  • Strong, effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Experience and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth company
  • Interest in the active/outdoor/apparel markets
