About the role:
The Business Development Manager will generate and support the development of new business that have needs for PPE products that are global sourcing and national market focused for Tronex with major health systems and brands across the national market. The company provides a strong competitive edge with deep strengths in marketing and vertical integration to manufacturing. This role is responsible for cultivating and growing long term program partnerships for the company, and is based full-time out of the Tronex corporate offices in New Jersey.
Being on site is vital to the success for the right candidate to fill this position. This role calls for working with cross functional teams to leverage diverse skills and perspectives so that we can tackle complex projects more effectively and continuously drive innovation. Each department defines an area of expertise that when working together can achieve a common goal.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a large universe of prospective client partners through steady and proactive outreach.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of developing business opportunities.
- Partner efficiently and collaboratively with matrixed and cross functional internal teams to deliver world-class account management exceeding customer expectations.
- Develop and maintain a high level of expertise and working knowledge of Company/brand virtues, and all product lines, markets, and competitive solutions.
- 7-10 years of related experience; business development experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
- Prior experience developing large major brands and national accounts.
- Experience selling into the Healthcare, Hospitality, and/or Food Service industries.
- Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strategic thinking and disciplined ability to plan, organize, and execute well.
- Customer/Client Focused & Results Driven.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management including executive leadership to create mutually beneficial agreements.
Please note that this role is on site in (Mount Olive, NJ OR Parsippany, NJ)
Approximately 15-20% travel, also dependent on customer/market dynamics
