Job Summary:

The Regional Director (RDS) of Sales is responsible for leading a team of Field Personnel and accountable for delivering on the Kinetic Advantage mission of delivering the best-in-class service to our Independent Dealers and Auction Partners. The RDS will have a strong focus on increasing revenue and profitability growth for their assigned region. The ability to inspire, coach, mentor, train, and recruit is vital for this role. The RDS must possess the ability to leverage relationships within the assigned territory that will translate into cultivating and driving Kinetic Advantage’s brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to deliver on new dealer activation goals and maximize utilization of the Company’s floorplan solutions within their assigned region
  • Lead a team of Field Personnel to achieve market goals of Active Dealers, floorplan loan volume, risk mitigation, portfolio management, and loss expectations
  • Manage market goals to ensure achievement of Company new loan, revenue, and profitability targets
  • Balance growth goals with risk management criteria
  • Support Lending and Risk Team to deliver Company expectations and drive strong returns while mitigating risk
  • Propel Kinetic Advantage’s brand by subscribing to the Company’s Mission – Value – Principles and operating with the highest level of integrity
  • Lead with a “roll up the sleeves, scrappy approach” to grow Kinetic Advantage’s business through hustle and determination
  • Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously while delivering consistent results
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to drive positive returns and mitigate loss
  • Heightened focus on delivering a positive customer experience for all of the Company’s partners – dealers and auctions
  • Ability to analyze data and make decisions to drive the Company’s initiatives
  • Regular travel to Markets and completion of regularly scheduled on site visits to Dealer & Auction Partners
  • Establish and maintain a robust working knowledge of the competition, industry trends, and market dynamics that may affect or alter Company strategy and performance
  • Oversees the operations of the Sales team
  • Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in automotive commercial lending
  • Strong grasp on the automotive industry with significant experience and knowledge of the wholesale market


Requirements/Abilities:

  • Strong sense of urgency with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to leverage a consultative sales process to overcome customer objections and communicate Kinetic Advantage’s value proposition
  • Ability to effectively develop and maintain strong business relationships

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Nights and weekends will be required

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to communicate clearly
  • Ability to ride in cars during Market visits for extended periods
  • Must be able to move objects up to 50 pounds
  • Required to be able to travel for extended periods of time (greater than 4 hours)
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will, at times, be subject to outside environmental conditions
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards

This person must reside full time on the west coast
