We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join our leadership team based in Los Angeles, California as a Regional Sales Manager. This position although remote will need to be based in Los Angeles and will involve frequent travel across the West Coast.

The unique Farrow & Ball look transforms modern and traditional homes, large and small, inside and out. Established in Dorset, England in 1946, we have grown over the last 75 years and now proudly have 60 showrooms worldwide with a global network of stockists.


The key to our success is the people behind the paint: from the team handcrafting each tin to showroom staff to support functions, our shared passion ensures customers have a positive, engaging experience at every stage of their journey with us.


As the Regional Sales Manager, reporting directly to our North America President, you will be an experienced retail manager and responsible for our retail network of showrooms across the West Coast.


You will maximise sales whilst delivering excellence in all aspects of brand and team, developing the Farrow & Ball brand throughout the Region’s Showrooms and their local markets. You will raise the retail skills, both sales & operational, of Showroom Managers and staff, coaching and empowering them to drive the business forward. Working with key stakeholders to ensure Showrooms achieve and exceed targets. This is an exciting role with lots of opportunity for growth, to be successful you will need to be a driven leader with strong retail sales experince, along with a passion for excellent customer service.


What we expect from you as a Regional Sales Manager:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire showroom teams to create a strong selling culture and achieve sales targets.
  • Use KPI analysis to inform decisions, motivate the team and drive sales.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on sales patterns and trends.
  • Develop new accounts and maintain sales activity with existing accounts.
  • Promote and sell colour consultancy service both inside and outside the showroom.
  • Ensure the highest levels of customer service are delivered at all times.
  • Manage stock inventory and ordering efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain the Farrow & Ball brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Develop and execute local marketing initiatives that drive footfall into the Showroom.
  • Act as a local Brand Ambassador, networking in the local community.
  • Develop local partnerships and engage with customers across all channels (consumer, designer, painter, and decorator).
  • Review processes and working practices to identify improvements and maximise the success of the Showrooms.
  • Communicate regularly with Showroom Managers, Assistant Showroom Managers and Head Office departments as required.
  • Manage overhead expenditure and daily banking.
  • Report on objectives, results and performance as required.


Key Attributes:

  • Proven leadership experience within a retail environment
  • Knowledge and experience of leading a team and achieving retail sales targets.
  • Commercially minded and a proven ability to drive sales.
  • Strong customer focus and drive for results
  • Proven management, retail and operational experience
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to lead a team by example.
  • Financial understanding and ability to analyse data/metrics.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of using Microsoft applications.
  • High end retail experience (desirable).
