We are seeking an entry-level Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Portsmouth, NH. This role is part of the QA Operations (QA on the Floor) team, which provides real-time Quality Assurance support across all areas that are directly or indirectly involved in GMP-related activities. The position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for growth and development within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.


Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday, primarily 1st and 2nd shifts

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $30.31 per hour, plus a 7.5% annual bonus and overtime opportunities. 10% shift differential for 2nd shift.

Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily rotations through GMP operational areas to review GMP documentation and observe GMP work habits.
  • Authorize the placement and removal of Quality Tag Outs.
  • Respond promptly to QA Hotline calls in support of GMP operations.
  • Provide GMP guidance and support to Manufacturing, Quality Control (QC), Engineering/Facilities, and MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) teams.
  • Document all relevant items within QAOTF shift notes, ensuring proper follow-up and communication across shifts.
  • Represent the QA department in meetings or on project teams, as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is preferred but not required.
