Position Summary:
The Range Inspector II is tasked with overseeing the quality assurance processes associated with firearm assembly. This role requires the ability to conduct live fire function tests on a diverse range of firearms produced by SIG. The inspector will assess these weapons for accuracy across various distances, ranging from 10 to 100 meters. Proficiency in inspection and auditing processes is essential, alongside effective communication skills to interact with personnel at all organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough inspections of firearms, including sub-assemblies and complete builds, utilizing limited attribute gauging and visual aids to ensure compliance.
2. Monitor the assembly process to confirm adherence to work instructions and verify the accuracy of parts against the job router and Bill of Materials.
3. Perform minor repairs and demonstrate the ability to disassemble and reassemble SIG firearms effectively.
4. Follow established Work Instructions and Visual Aids to ensure parts compliance.
5. Utilize the company’s operating system for material movement and other job-related functions.
6. Implement efficient inspection methods to maintain product flow in alignment with company standards.
7. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding any issues and corrective measures.
8. Proactively seek opportunities to enhance daily operations, improving quality and productivity while meeting customer expectations.
9. Engage in 5S workplace organization initiatives, ensuring the work area is maintained in optimal condition.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a process coordinator or in a similar role.
2. Valid range certification.
3. Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
4. Entry-level armorer experience, with a solid understanding of company products to make informed judgments regarding product acceptability.

Working Environment:
1. Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
2. Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
