Job Summary:

As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients. You will analyze financial data to determine the likelihood of a borrower honoring their financial obligations. This role is critical in helping our company minimize risks and make informed lending decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
  • Prepare reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
  • Evaluate financial status by producing financial ratios through computer programs.
  • Complete loan applications, including credit analyses and summaries of loan requests, and submit to loan committees for approval.
  • Review individual or commercial customer files to identify and select delinquent accounts for collection.
  • Consult with customers to resolve complaints and verify financial and credit transactions.
  • Recommend, develop, and maintain financial databases, computer software systems, and manual filing systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a credit analyst, financial analyst, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial spreadsheets, software, and statistical analysis.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to create and process financial spreadsheets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
