We are searching for an enthusiastic, service-focused hotel front desk agent to join our guest services team. You’ll welcome guests, manage accounts, answer inquiries, and field complaints to ensure we deliver an excellent experience to every guest. The position is part-time potential to be full-time. Morning shift 7 am to 3 pm or evening 3 pm to 11 pm. Shifts may vary. Requires weekends.
Compensation:$11 - $12 hourly
Responsibilities:- Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
- Manage room bookings in-person, online, and through incoming calls, and answer inquiries about guests’ needs, including questions about available rooms, amenities, room rates, special requests, and rewards programs
- Mitigate customer complaints as needed
- Work with the housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for new guests
- Greet, check-in, and check out guests when they arrive and leave the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and record credit card information
- Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
- High school graduate, GED recipient, or equivalent
- At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
- Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
- Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
Hampton Inn and Suites is part of the Hilton Hotel chain. We have 73 rooms and are located in the heart of downtown Brigham City. We are within walking distance of multiple restaurants and close to many local attractions. We have a small staff that enjoys serving our customers and working together.
